FAQ
- Quotation - Unless specified otherwise, all quotes are valid for 30 days except for those items that
involve textile quota which are only valid for 5 days. All FOB pricing is based on ocean shipment, and air shipment will experience
additional costs.
- Sampling - Most samples are provided free of charge and shipped by
courier under freight collect. We need to have your account number with
any one of the major international courier companies.
- Minimum order - There is no set minimum order level. It is usually
governed by the availability of raw material and the justification of
a higher cost that normally associates with low quantity.
- Leadtime - Normal leadtime is between 30 to 60 days after receipt of your confirmed
order together with all
specifications and details in regards to your shipment.
- Special holidays - Please note that a long Chinese New Year holiday
lies between each year's late January and early February when factory
production will be stopped for approximately 15 to 20 days and should be taken into account when making delivery planning.
- Tooling - Extra time should be taken into consideration when special
tooling, setup and jigs are required to make your order.
- Custom orders - If an item is of buyer's design and specifications, it
is recommended that you do a thorough performance testing before confirming
counter samples to us. This step is important for determining whether your design
will stand up to the intended usage and buyer's expectation, and your local regulatory codes.
- Artwork - All artwork is preferred to be in Photoshop (minimum resolution 300 dpi) or Illustrator
files on a CD in PC file format. To achieve high color reproduction
accuracy, artwork files should be embedded with profiles and observe all
color management principles. Providing us with a color printout will be helpful
for matching. Pantone system should be used for all spot color
specifications. Fonts should either be converted into outlines or have the font files included on CD. Although we will take every effort to alert you of any discrepancies, the artwork files provided by you will be used as basis for judging the correctness of production.
- Color accuracy - Please note that color is seen differently in different
light conditions. Furthermore, same color ink will show differently
on various paper stock and material. For fabric, each dye lot will be
slightly different and is considered as an acceptable industrial tolerance. Degree
of surface glossiness also affect color. If color is extremely critical
for the project, it is recommended that extra time
should be set aside for a color proof or fabric lab dip review.
- Natural material - Natural material such as wood and leather will exhibit slightly
varying shades and patterns.
